A concept map is a diagram that graphically organizes and structures knowledge. Concept maps consist of concepts represented as nodes and relationships between concepts represented by connecting lines or arrows with linking words or labels that explain the nature of the relationship (cool overview here (Links to an external site.)). Toward these ends, you will:

Next, diagram how these core concepts relate to one another using linking lines and/or arrows that are labeled to explain the relationship.
Finally, write one paragraph of reflection on your concept map. What did you learn? What surprised you? What do you wish you could learn more about?
You may create your concept map on paper (and submit an image of the document) or using one of the many online tools such as bubbl.us. Work should be substantive, synthetic, and representative of your own in-depth thinking about the content of the course.
