Wisconsin has 11 federally recognized tribes: Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Ho-Chunk Nation, Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Menominee Tribe of Wisconsin, Oneida Nation, Forest County Potawatomi, Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, St. Croix Chippewa, Sokaogon Chippewa (Mole Lake), and Stockbridge-Munsee
Discussion: you need to choose a tribe from the list above and apply tips #5 and #7 from the first reading above (but being mindful of all the suggestions),
from that tribe you are looking for two historical events, cultural practices or noteworthy individuals to focus on. One of these should focus on gender and also address if this woman or women had to face any additional hurdles and why, if so.
